What are the facilities at Roswell K-9 Ranch?

We have a 2500 square foot kennel building – one of the largest in southeast New Mexico.

• 51 individual indoor/outdoor, climate controlled runs
• All runs are 26 feet long – 6 feet on the inside and 20 feet on the outside
• Run widths vary - 3 ft., 4ft., and 5ft wide
• Security fence fully enclosed kennel premises
• Kennel building is heated and cooled
• Kennel runs are cleaned and sanitized daily

What dog breeds are accepted at Roswell K-9 Ranch?

• All breeds of dogs are accepted at the K-9 Ranch

What are the requirements for boarding a pet?

We require certain vaccinations for boarding pets:

• For Dogs these include Rabies, Bordetella (a.k.a. canine kennel cough) and DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvo).
  
  
• For Cats these include Feline Distemper and respiratory virus vaccine (FVRCP).
  
  
• Paper copies of all vaccinations should be provided for the animal’s file. All vaccinations must be kept up to date by the pet's owner.
  
  
• Flea and Tick preventatives are not required but are recommended for all pets entering the kennel.

What are the boarding rates for cats and dogs?

• Boarding rates for dogs range from $8.00 to $12.00 per day based on the size/breed (tax included.)
  
  
• Boarding rate for cats is $8.00 per day (tax included).

Are reservations required to board a pet?

• Although the K-9 Ranch does not require reservations, we recommend the you call ahead to ensure accommodations are available to meet your and your pets boarding needs.
  
  
• During the peak use periods (summer months and holidays), the K-9 Ranch highly recommend that Pet Owners call in advance to book your pets stay to guarantee accommodations for your pet.
